I have always been an immense devotee of The behavioural scientist Dan Ariely. The manner in which he exposes and deconstruct characteristics in our behaviour which we would describe as profoundly human, but in the eye of modern science the extent of our flaws become almost comical. Especially when we try to convince ourselves otherwise. It clearly demystifies the whole theology around rationality and effectivity according to Ayn Rand.

I am somewhat both disturbed and impressed by the performance of American child actors in general and this one specifically.
Just as the amount of pressure weighing on an indian child that perfectly manufactures a premium sports shoe in a short amount of time is disheartening.
the skill might be impressive but the fact that it takes place in the entertainment industry should not excuse the above analogy. But perhaps the financial payoff and recognition by working for Hollywood is incomparable to the abuse of sweatshops.
